Love mine and have shot it like I stole it. In fact, I am picking up another one from a friend that has a closet full.
I will admit to being Colt bias but, it is a fantastic weapon you should get years of shooting out of.

If you have an FFL that will transfer about 1k is a great price. I have seen sales in the past in the high 8's but, no more.
They are worth every penny imo.

 

at closer ranges, 5.56 works very well too

 

A buddy of mine got to go hog hunting somewhere in hawaii with his FN fal .308. He said it pretty awesome

 

I had a TRS 25 on my pistol and loved it. Though I found that my old eyes needed some magnification to help me with targets out past 100 yds so I put a Bushnell 1x4 on and couldn't be happier. I shoot coyotes and the 1x4 makes all the difference for me.

Alright, so I'll probably sound like an idiot who shouldn't own an AR but whatever, lol. What does it mean when you look at scopes and it says 4x32 or something like that? Is it 4x magnification with a 32ft wide angle or what?

 

1st number is magnification. 2nd number is degree of view.

Has no bearing on whether you should own an AR or not. Scopes go on alot of guns. Shit spotting scopes use this system, and they dont shoot any projectile.

It would be best described as a proprietary round.
.223 Wylde is much a hybrid of the .223 and 5.56 chamber. It has a slightly larger chamber and throat than .223 but not quite as open as a 5.56 one. You can use .223 or 5.56mm ammo in a .223 Wylde. A .223 Wydle is generally as accurate as a .223 chambered gun and more accurate than a 5.56.

Yeah because it's steel cased. I'll only put brass in my gun, and I can reload it. Can't reload steel.
