Yeah, I ran everything pretty wet since it was the first time firing. I did install everything according to their instructions, set screws are nice and snug and I have KNS pins so there's no movement. I'll try the Timney with different ammo, a standard trigger with the ammo that was problematic and see what changes, if anything. Thanks for the help, I'll post back what the final verdict is.

Overall length, barrel length, we can have pre-ban high capacity mags, no bayo lug, no flash hider, fixed stock. We can have 2 'evil features' as we call them, any more and it's considered an assault weapon. The features are adjustable stock, pistol grip, ability to accept a magazine, bayo lug, flash hider. So just by having a pistol grip and a mag well, you can't have any other features.

Update on my AR, everything worked flawlessly today. I changed ammo and that's it. It put several hundred rounds down range without issue. I'm at a loss.

Haha, truth. Been living here too long!
Haha, if I did, it was not intentional! I was using Federal ammo today, so nothing special. I did nothing from yesterday to today either. No idea what's going on.

Check out the Noveske Leonidas barrels.

Also if anyone is in the market for an MLOK rail. I highly recommend the SLR Rifleworks Lite series. Also comes in keymod.

    SUPER NICE.

12" rail? Prices seem a little higher than troy mlok. The slr 12 is comparable to 15 troy pricewise. But weight is down to comparable to the 11" troy. Looks nice though!

Thanks! I love the way the rail sections and accessories mount, you barely have to tighten them and they lock up solid.

    I have a 14" Solo Lite. 11.0oz.

I'm not really a huge fan of Troy. I had and 11" alpha and I hated the way it mounted. Terrible mounting system IMO and the lack of anti rotation tabs keeping the rail straight with the receiver. If you tighten one mount screw too much before others it threw everything off. Every time I took it off and put it back on to at a rail or something I had to zero my irons because it was never on the same again. And the ONE anti rotation tab it does have doesn't even come into contact receiver.

Also if you think this price is steep, check the geissele mk8 mlok rail.

Also from experience, the backing plate mounting option for picatinny rails is horrid. I would rather have a quad rail. Direct mount with helicoil is nice (centurion cmr, wilson combat) and the keymod is pretty sweet, but I think MLok is stronger mounting option for accessories.

Yeah, but the quality is amazing I put this together for a coworker and the geissele mk5 rail is flawless

Yeh I've had every alternate mounting type on the market. Shitty backplates, direct, keymod and now mlok.

Ammo does make a huge difference. Also, keeping the rifle clean and lubed.

I remember back when I was shooting the cheapest stuff available and I couldn't get within 6" at 100 yards. That makes sighting a rifle in very challenging. I switched from the brown box russian stuff (Don't remember which brand) to Hornady and was putting bullets through the same hole.

I know ammo makes a huge difference with accuracy but shouldn't have played a factor in the issue I was having. For some reason, the hammer didn't reset but the bolt did go back far enough to load the next round. The rifle was brand new, it was it's first time out so everything was as clean as it will ever be and I ran it wet for the first time out.

As far as accuracy, I need to sight in my red dot sight, it's way, way off the way it came to me. I need to spend some time and properly sight it in.

Pugga, sounds like an underpowered load. Sounds like the bolt was short stroking. You may try to shoot a couple of hundred rounds that work and then retry the loads you were having problems with. I had an AR that did this and after about 500 rounds it would eat anything. I guess it smoothed itself out.
