Anyone ever ordered from radical firearms? Looking at one of their assembled uppers

 

I've ordered a barrel from them. Good fast delivery and quality product.

 

Everything on a firearm is a wearable part. Eventually it'll wear out and need replacement. Whether it wears beyond spec or wears to a breaking point. The polymer lowers track record is they wear and break at a fast rate considering lower receivers are probably the slowest wearable part of the ar15 platform. Most buy polymer lowers because of their savings value, some in rare instance are building the lightest possible rifle. The savings on a poly lower in my opinion is a moot point because they wear out to fast to be truly cost effective.

You cannot transfer a tax stamp, a few dollars more would have got an aluminum receiver (very long term part) and made the tax stamp more cost effective. I just see zero benefit to spending time on paperwork and money on a stamp on one of the least expensive, fastest wearing and prone to breakage products on the market.

Also on top of that the quality is so lacking on them. You can not put a better trigger in them and take full advantage of the trigger because they lack the pin support the aluminum receivers do. Just too many cons to pros to invest the time and money on a SBR stamp. Cheap truck gun, sure but even that as soon above isn't a great idea. The heat and sun wears the material so can't leave it in the truck for extended length of time. Just to many downsides.

Here's an unusual one. I bought a few 30 round Gen3 PMAGs a few weeks ago. I was loading them tonight, and one of them accepted 40 rounds easily. It stopped at exactly 40. It's labeled 30 on the side. Did I get a lemon, or did I just luck out and get a 40 labeled 30?

Bummer. It's the same length. The rounds didn't feel sloppy going in, like it had a broken spring or anything.

Im sure it'll be fine. My only word of advice from personal experience is transport in in a hard case and dont put too much lateral stress across the rifle during transportation.

 

My point was why invest in a lower that has a proven shorter life. Nothing more than that. They serve their purpose, I guess.

 

They mob the dez hard in SoCal bro, so hard. Haha

 

I'm curious to see how it turns out too. Hopefully it works out and the thing lasts. C

Nope, i found it broken when unpacking from one of our dez trips.
