^What he said. Once you get one, you can never go back. Pretty soon every AR you own will have one

    Nice rifle by the way.

Yep. One of the single best upgrades you can do to any firearm is an improved fire control group.

How would you guys rate the Geissele triggers against the drop ins like Elftmann or Timney?

I only have experience with standard mil spec, ALG QMS (a lightly tuned mil spec), and the Geissele SD-C triggers. So I can't say for sure.

Thanks. I miss this one, but I got stupid money for it from a guy who just had to have an AR when they were hard to find.

I sell the Geissele, BRO DIT and CMCs. The Black Rain and CMCS are single stage triggers while the Geissele are two stage triggers. I'm probably going to drop the cmc line. The black rain triggers are better built in my opinion and far easier company to deal with as a dealer.

I may be looking for another trigger company as a third option to carry to replace the cmc's.

I have the SSA-E and the Timney 3LB single stage.

The timney is a great trigger, hardly any creep, nice break to it. I use it in my "precision" build right now.

But I am liking the SSA-E more and more. I like two stage triggers...1st stage being 2-3lbs and then a rather light second stage (like 1lb).

Think it really depends what you like in a trigger. Im liking the two stages more and more for precision guns and a single stage more for just plinking around.

I hear that man...its just that i'm on a budget. I want something with an actual reticule in it and i'd prefer not to have a magnifier if i can help it.

Have only fired the Timney Gold drop in and it was nice and wouldn't have a problem with it being on a precision rifle. I do remember some creep in the trigger.

With that, I've fired the Geissele Hi Speed Match(2 stage), SSA-E(2 stage), SSA (2 stage) and S3G(single). The NM is just crazy with the adjustments that can be made. Perfect glass rod break and no over travel. With the S3G I make people dry fire them first. It has such a short amount of take up and is good for wicked fast shooting. But in the wrong/untrained hands it is definitely a safety hazard especially if they are used to a mil-spec trigger.

I've fired the same exact triggers side by side, one with factory Geissele pins, and the other with KNS. The factory pins felt better in every one. KNS tends to add a little grit to it.

arb bumper, 3 inch spacer lift (it needs to go!), 3 inch OME lift,
I have one. Honestly I'm not a fan of NiB as all them will flake. It's just the latest trend. Also, before I knew better I always put KNS anti walk pins in all my AR-15s. Now I that I started using Geiselle I don't. They are not really needed anyways.

The trigger is just a regular mil-spec with the exception it is NiB. It is a smoother less gritty trigger but it just isn't worth it. BTW, I love me some Spikes Tactical tool. Sure the dueling penis logo is an odd choice for branding but I have 2 uppers from them that are great. I actually rate them the same as BCM of which I also have several products and uppers from.

I just did it, you need to use an electric carving knife. And when you trace it, if how you have it in the picture is how you want it, trace it in the mirrored direction so when you cut the foam you can flip it over and the traced lines are on the bottom.
