Not trying to get political Jamie, just commenting on my favorite ammo to shoot.

I'm sure you have done you home work... Most tables and forums I read people are zeroing their Grendels in at 200 yards. This seems to make 100yards roughly 2-2.5" high and about 10" low at 300 yards. Like I said these are just my findings, I don't have enough range time with mine yet to confirm.

Well I have a full blown custom model 700 (22-250) that I have worked with to the point where it drives absolute tacks... I have tested hundreds of loads to get it to that point. That being said my AA 18" 1:7.5 twist upper is shooting factory loads in a 1" square with ease @ 100 yds. I have some hand loads worked up just haven't got to play with them but I really think it is going to out shoot my 250. Also that fact that the grendel is supersonic past a thousand yards and the amount of people the accurately shoot 1,000+ yards that I have talked to on the 6.5 Grendel forum, I think this is going to be by far my best and favorite gun I own.

I almost built a 6.5x284 Norma or a 6.5x47 Lapua on a 700 bolt but after playing with my Grendel I'm glad I did what I did!

Just ordered a 1000 round case of Prvi M193. Gotta beef up the ammo stash a bit.

Lol the prices are still out of control thanks to panic buyers and not going down soon it looks like. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1426081462.973209.jpg

I got 1000 lake city M193 right before all this for $320 before shipping and now that's up to about $400 too depending where you look.

I paid $365 shipped for the Prvi M193 ammo I ordered yesterday. It's Serbian made and is very good stuff. I've shot plenty of it before.

They just shelved that thing yesterday. I have no doubt it will go back down, just needs a bit of time.

Oh I know that, but I don't think it's going to come down as soon as people think. Because there are idiots that are still buying at panic prices, and the distributors are laughing on their way to the bank. Because they got everything when it was cheaper, when they paid even less.

So just got my first AR last week - actually traded it for the old shocks off my Tacoma! Anyway, I'd like to upgrade the trigger. Recommendations?

Congratulations. Quite a few good choices but, I am a Timney fan. Fantastic triggers, the best quality control and good service if ever needed.

I've built two lowers with RRA 2-stage triggers, never had any issues with them in at least 10 years. When I built them I used .155 KNS pins for a tight fit, not sure if that made a difference or not since all were installed from the start.
