See the little pin above "FIRE"? That's the sear pin for burst or full auto.

I just find it interesting that it's engraved "FIRE", and not "SEMI", which led me to believe it was a conversion, or else Colt was lazy, I don't know.

Here's a few more from playing show and tell with some potential customers a little while ago.

Here's one from hunting this year. I had a couple people ask me why I was posting a crime scene publicly.

I realized that, but my post that was quoted was referencing NHMTG, which I also had to google, and came up with Ronan in Conn. Are Ronan and Magpul the same company and I'm being stupid?. If so my bad.

Huge pain to do it with a drill press. With a CNC it's not too bad. If you do want to try it yourself I highly recommend buying the guide plates.

We've all grown here. I love you guys. :D:D
Would love to, but they're illegal here in the PRofNJ. Heard lots of positives about doing them with the availability of quality jigs for those good with tools. Cost is high though. You can get perfectly fine lowers for what - 40/50 bucks? Doing an 80% could run you $200-$300 http://www.80percentarms.com/, that plus your time and a sprinkle of hope/luck it comes out right. Plenty of sexy finished lowers out there for that $. On the other hand doing it yourself sure must be satisfying. That and that little flying under the radar thing with an 80 :spy:.

Finished putting my geissele mk4 rail on. Very pleased with the results. I'm fairly new to free floating barrels and what not, do I need to worry about heads pacing on the barrel or anything? I didn't remove the barrel, but obviously removed the barrel nut. I just want to make sure I'm not going to get shrapnel in my face lol

Negative. The barrel is head spaced when the extension is installed, which you did not modify. As long as you are using an in spec BCG you're good to go. Changing barrel nuts and fore ends will not affect head spacing.

Awesome, thanks. Can't be too safe when dealing with 25,000ish PSI lol

I'm thinking about selling off my AR, could you guys help me out with price? They seem to be all over the map depending on the parts used. Here's the build list, any input would be helpful.

Upper and lower - Aero Precision
FCG - Timney trigger with KNS pins
LPK - Rock River Arms (except FCG)
    Ergo Grip
    Magpul rifle stock
Radical Firearms Melonite BCG and Barrel (carbine length gas system)
YHM quad rail with Magpul ladders and angled foregrip
    YHM muzzle brake

I have an inexpensive red dot sight that I'm not sure I'll sell with it or not and a 3x magnifier. Otherwise, it's a flat top and does not have back up sights. I did the assembly myself and it shoots great. Any thoughts on a price for something like that (I'm in Commie MA if that matters).

I'll give you 1$. That's really all it's worth since it's all used and stuff.
