Yep, first comes the standard build, 556 16" barrel, magpul furniture.
And then you'll want shorter, so you'll build a 11.5-12.5 556, and then you'll decide that 556 out of the short barrel isn't right so you end up building a 10"-11" 300 BLK.
And once you build the blackout upper you'll want to suppress it, which opens the door to the suppressor addiction.

I'm still happy with my S&W M&P Sport. It's the Miller High Life of AR's, but I have fun shooting it, it's accurate, and so far it's been 100% reliable. :notsure:

Ahh, forget starting out slow! These were our first two, both custom builds, one piece at a time! :)

I just ordered my suppressors...time to slowly start piecing together the 300blk...like super slowly the way these wait times are.

They are real 30 round mags that have been blocked to 10 rounds! What a joke! And both rifles have "bullet buttons" so you can't drop the mags without pushing a bullet tip into the hole!

This nanny state is beyond a joke! If we didn't live in an amazing place, my dad would be out of here. Area is great, but the politics suck hard! Thanks for the complements!

Come to New Hampshire...we have about as much freedom as you can get in the US. Although, admittedly, we have snow for a few months too.

    What'd you get?
I'm slowly jumping into the suppressed world, ordered a griffin checkmate QD (Rimfire) and I'm trying to decide if I want to form 1 or buy a .30 cal suppressor.
I'm not (currently) planning on building a 300 BLK but I want to suppress my 7.5" 556 SBR, 16" 6.8 SPC, and various other guns I own.

We (My parents, my sister, and myself) moved out of So-Cal 2 years and 2 days ago because go the laws, it came down to moving or the possibility of getting caught with "illegal" firearms.

The People's Republic of Massachusetts is essentially a watered down (literally: snow, metaphorically:liberal gun laws) California. Personally I am not a fan of MA lol
