    What difference does having friends outside of CA have? I assume those are still out of state and you didnt "import" them to CA

    New BCG and buffer did it. Also found my gas block was loose so that could have been most of it. Shot 180 rounds through it today and shot flawless.

    BTW, M4Carbine.net (where the link goes) is a great resource for all things AR. Most of the members there are current or former military, LEO, and PMC contractors, so they have a plethora of relevant real world experience and knowledge. That being said, some members can be, well, dicks when it comes to people asking basic questions when a simple search would provide plenty of info.

    I love living this close to an indoor range. I can swing home after work to grab my guns and shoot off a few magazines before dinner. Wifey loves it to cause she says I'm much more relaxed afterwards. Lol.

    Got my newest upper together last night and mated it to an old lower I had laying around. Upper is mixture of random parts I found on sale mostly. Any recommendations on sling? Rifle will eventually get a vortex strike eagle on it and will pull truck gun, 4wheeler riding, all around duties.

    I much prefer the PST line, but that's a little more $$. I can tell you one of the truest firearms lessons I've learned is that cheap optics are false economy. Vortex will take care of you if something ever happens, but do yourself a favor and don't ever look through a 1-4x PST if you buy a strike eagle.
