$600 aint bad for a middle of the road manufacturer

You just have to be careful with Bushmasters as many of them are equipped with commercial spec buffer tubes and you'll want to upgrade that if you ever want to upgrade the stock

I'd guess the red dot is a cheapy you'd want to change out ASAP but $600 for a complete rifle isn't a bad price regardless

The best deal on a Bushmaster is to not buy one.

Unless it's one of the older ones that were made in Maine.

That is so true, commercial buffer tubes, 1/9 barrels, 223 chambers, improperly staked gas keys, standard buffers, 4140 barrel steel and semi auto carriers. But most buyers will never notice these flaws ,because they only shoot 20rounds a year of Winchester White Box 223 per year.

Getting my Palmetto MOE lower in less than a week. It will complete my SOPMOD M4A1 Block2 build, then all I need is an optic.
Also just ordered 2 Aero Precision stripped lowers. Here in CA there really is a deadline. 24 days!

@STravis, I ran a few mags through the ar today and I'm very impressed with the velocity trigger.

Vortex is damned good optics, and 4x mag is a good all-around scope.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good backpack for equipment/hunting/backpacking/guns/ outdoors lol.

Just looking for a good weather resistant all around bag that can carry whatever I need, but also be used to travel on airplanes and such.

You want to keep your gun hobbies backpack and your travel on planes backpacks separate. I ALWAYS get screened for my bag to be bomb swabbed. I have had to do a lot of talking about why there is gun powder residue on them. So, now I have a "Airplane Only" Backpack.

    Good point.

Thanks for the tip. Ok so lets avoid airplane pack and just normal carry bag.
