I have one on a rifle and one in the parts bin. I like it for a cheap but effective stock. Works just fine. I get a good enough cheek weld for using scopes too.

I do prefer the magpul str and ubr but they cost more too. For a basic stock the moe works just fine

The str I find gives a better check weld and is a bit more comfortable to use bench shooting. For just plinking and having fun I don't mind the moe. The moe is pretty cheep and you can probably find a used one cheap too

If you don't need the gimmicky little storage compartments you might as well save a couple bucks and go with the ctr. It's the same thing minus the storage as the str.

And the mil-spec/commercial spec stock depends on what spec buffer tube assembly you have correct?

They are similar but still different. The str has a bigger cheek weld area (which you may or may not like). It also has a larger flat portion on the bottom for use in a rear bag. So close to the same but still different.

I didnt even know they had a gen 2 lol. I like mine but it is heavy. I use it on my sbr though and find I like it.

Yup buy based on what buffer tube you ha e

Bullet button and /or RADDLock are all a no go in the Commifornia :( If you want the cool stuff you have to go to a free state where the citizens are not stripped of the 2nd Amendment

Yeah, the weight was my issue with the original UBR, but the Gen 2 is supposed to be lighter, and has a 60$ lower MSRP. But magpul's been dropping the ball and hasn't released it yet. It was supposed to come out almost a year ago.
