Does anybody have any experience with the Bushnell Elite 1-mile CONX combo with the kestrel?
Are the shooting solutions any good? Would it be good for shooting solutions over 1000 yards?

This is what I use. It's compact and fits in my pack or my hunting vest pocket.

If you've got a good prismatic compass, it's even better.

I also use a Nikon ProStaff 7 Rangefinder. You can get apps for your phone too. I turn mine off and leave it in the truck every time, so that wouldn't work for me.

I've been using a couple different phone apps but my buddy let me use his Gunwerks BR2 rangefinder with his Gunwerks 7mm mag. I was looking into getting one but they are way too pricey for me and I stumbled on that conx/kestrel combo that sounds like it does almost the same thing but with 2 separate tools.

StrelokPro app works well with your kestrel also.

I just looked into that one. It's very nice but still substantially more money than the CONX/Kestrel I found. I wish I had more money to go into the rangefinder but it all went into the new gun and scope.

Bleh, found out at the gunshow today that MD now requires both Stripped Lowers AND complete lowers to be registered as pistols, so I missed the $250 DPMS lower they had. on the upside, i snagged an aluminum Upper out of a vendor for $60, so its a start. now for the other 150 parts....

I know I have enough mags (well...maybe), but if you are looking for a high quality mag that's a little different, the Lancer L5 AWM in see-thru smoke is $12.99 at Midway right now. I like being able to see my round count, and I like the metal feed lips. Regularly $17.99, so $5 off.
