Just be mindful that being rated for 300blk in a 8" barrel doesn't really say much. That's a lower pressure round to begin with and the caliber was designed for all powder to be burned up in 8 inches (or 8.2?). A lot of 45 caliber pistol cans are rated for subsonic 300blk (I know my Osprey45 is and I think my TiRant45 is as well.) But any of those that you mentioned are great cans from what ive seen!

My favorites are still my Thunderbeats Arms 30-P1 (direct thread 30cal...no longer offered but the Ultra series is an upgraded version of it) and my TBAC 223A direct thread.

The October 2015 was from when the bill was first...announced I guess is the word. So no guarantee on that date being what actually ends up in a passed bill. Especially if we don't see a vote till next fall on it. Really think the gov would refund two years worth of taxes when a simple keystroke could let them keep that money :)

1)I like the couple I have used. Only on pistols though. My S&W 629 44mag has a Hogue grip that I find a lot more comfortable. My S&W 1076 came with a Hogue that I find a bit bulky for my liking (but its already a bulky gun). I feel like I have a Hogue on something else but not sure. Grips are hard though as you really just have to try them to know. Best to go to a gun store and see if they will let you try them out.

    2) The Bushnell TRS-25 comes to mind. Can be had for ~60 bucks and gets pretty good reviews. I have two that I use on guns I don't shoot often and they work just fine. The primary arms micro also gets pretty good reviews but is a bit more (80ish?)

SBR's and Suppressors are being rolled back to being legal in more and more states each year. Same with concealed carry/open carry/campus carry

Still need to be a FFL to sell and manufacture them. Well outside of for private use that is. They would be the same sort of deal as 80% lowers. Legal to build yourself. but if you want a completed one still need to go to an FFL and do the background check.

NO they wouldn't! It would be labeled as an aftermarket accessory like a tail stock and slide fires. The 80%ers are because they have a serial number connected to them, as all receivers do.

And the roll backs you are speaking of are at a state level, not federal

You simply said one that has been rolled back. Nothing about state vs federal level.

So the part that says Suppressors shall be treated the same way as Long Guns somehow means that they are aftermarket accessories?

But enough of potential laws since I know the mods hate that.

Right! That's one of the things holding the bill up, is the terminology in it

Most 80% lowers do not have serial numbers. Mine don't. Do you know how many I have? Neither does the DOJ or any database.

This is true. I'm just bummed we can't have suppressors or SBRs, and the logic behind it all. Speaking of which, anyone know if the M&P 2.0 longslide is on the CA roster? It looks intriguing.

    Nope.

Thought I would post this cool deal here. I dont know who but I know couple months ago somewhere the Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter Gen3-M was on sale for $189.99. We'll if you guys are still interested, I just purchased it from Brownells: http://www.brownells.com/rifle-part...-stock-adapter-sku100015850-71553-151465.aspx
$209 sale price for black, $214.99 sale price for tan. Searched for codes, use code: LDD on checkout, $10 off + free $7.95 shipping = $199 shipped for black, $204 shipped for tan. It's a hell of a deal since they originally went for $300+ then down to $270, this is a great price. I decided to just get an Amend2 30rd mag pretty much for free but still got $3 off sale price, paid $206.04 shipped. FYI, Amend2 mags do work with 300AAC, had to search before I bought.

Also, going back to my previous comments about Brushfire Tactical and Blood and Brass, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT buy from them. I spent at least a week trying to get ahold of them, then they told me that even though I bought through Blood and Brass, my order was to be shipped from Brushfire Tactical. Was told they had wrong stock numbers, took another week plus to get them in and then when they came in, was told I would get an email with my shipping soon... That was last Friday. I've emailed, I've called, I've even messaged both companies through FB messenger, no reply in now almost a week. At this point I'm either out $43 or it will take another month to get to me. Absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered.
