Looks like any other upper 'cept it has a black barrel.

On a side note the AERO lower I was going to use has to go back to AERO. The trigger pin holes are to small. I was able to fit an AR Gold trigger and pins in it but not a Geissele National Match with its pins. The Geissele pins did fit in another AERO lower.

Will use a JP lower for this Grendel for now.

Im going to ask this at risk of repeating someone else's question.

I just picked up a Noveske built upper, 14.5+muzzle break, Daniels Def handguard. Im planing to make a fixed mag, mid to short range setup. Communist CA laws require me to use an AR Maglock. Im still looking for a lower, preferably Noveske Gen 1.

So my question: Im ordering a LPK, and my understanding is that most are the same. The trigger is generally not the best in stock mil-spec form. Are there an kits that would give the better stock trigger feel. Im hesitant to go aftermarket, as this is my first AR. I want to feel what 'stock' is before i go nuts with aftermarket shit. So what would be recommended as far as brands for a better than most trigger and action?

Is anyone familiar with Tom's Tactical kits? They have a teflon coated stock trigger and hammer.

Look for a "barebones" LPK (IIRC ironworks tactical carries them, the owner of ironworks is a member here) and you can get a semi-decent (from what I have read) trigger from ALG (the ACT trigger) for ~$70,

If its mil spec they are all within tolerance of whats considered "mil spec" these days. They pretty much all order from CMMG anyway. Then rebrand it and add their own trigger depending on the company. If you are looking for a LPK that has a mil spec 6lb. trigger than I would highly recommend Sons of Liberty Gun Works. They are by far one of the best companies around. Made in San Antonio, Texas so they are local to me and I am using their upper and lower receivers along with the bolt for my SBR build. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a very good and honest company to order parts from or even a rifle from.
