So I ordered an AR9 lower from PSA and UPS lost it in the mail. Already called UPS who is investigating it and I called PSA who is looking into it on their end. They said it can take up to 10 days but if they don't find it they will send me a new one

I mean doesn't effect me because I didn't do any paper work for it but just means I have to wait longer. It was last seen coming into Mississippi before the storm and UPS told me my zip code isn't affected so it should've moved 6 days ago

What muzzle device is that? Looks to be a taper mount.

I'm selling one of my short 556 uppers and tempted to replace it with a 300 BLK, my optimus is rated for supers with 3 lug mount down to 9.5" (full auto) and subs down to 8" with 3 lug.
I can run 3 lug with a 6.6" can or I can run a minimalist muzzle device with a 7.9" can.

Should I get a 8.5" upper or 10.5"? I'm new to the 300BLK world and don't plan on shooting it much but 300 BLK with subs and a can would be a pretty epic home/ranch defense gun.

I figured it was probably a griffin mount but wasn't sure.

    80% Lower?

This. Planning on running the Paladin suppressor, too. :spy:

I really want a paladin, I almost ordered one but instead I ordered the optimus because it's my first can and I want to run 9mm suppressed as well.

I had seriously considered that, especially since I already have the minimalist blast shield. Paladin had a very slight edge for me I don't see myself ever running 9mm and the Paladin is slightly smaller/lighter/quieter (vs. the Optimus mid-size configuration).

Out of ridiculous curiosity more than anything, I already returned the UH-1 in exchange for an EXPS3-2. Reticle seems more consistent, feels lighter/better balanced, and takes up less rail space.

PLEASE do NOT Krylon anything on a firearm. Deet, the main ingredient in Bug spray we use to keep chiggers and mosquitoes off of us will eat that paint right off the weapon on to yourself. Use Brownell's Aluma Hyde II spray. It takes 3-4 days under a fan or a week with no fan to dry but nothing except sandpaper will harm it. You will not be disappointed with the results. Shake the can like you have never shaken one before and keep a straight pin around for unclogging the nozzle.

Alumahyde II is what I used and put it in the oven. Works prettty well, definitely better than krylon.
