Just walk over to a tree and whack it against it for a bit, that should solve your problem. :D

Nope. I might strip it down and cerakote the receiver set & handguard but I wouldn't Krylon it without a good reason. I don't Krylon my car, for instance. Not sure why there's a trend to spray ARs.

Because they're the easiest to strip and most people have more than one. AKs are hard to completely disassemble.

Like I said, without a good reason. My light bar is spray painted, but I couldn't leave it bare metal without a tolerance for rust. An AR isn't going to rust.

    But hey, you asked.

I've sprayed a couple guns and used duracoat on a couple others. The Duracoat holds up marginally better but in my opinion the Krylon is easier and cheaper. Here's one of my AR's that I painted with Krylon. I used a cheap piece of venting from Home Depot for the diamond pattern and my wife's pasta strainer for the dot pattern. Just a heads up clean the pasta strainer IMMEDIATELY after you use it or prepare to buy a new one. If you do end up throwing it away and your wife asks you if you know where it is just do the right thing and tell her you have no idea what happened to it:D

I should probably rephrase my statement. Has anyone used ghost firearms the company before?

Man I bet! I still need a LPK, an awesome trigger, handguard, gas block and tube, and stock to finish the grendel build. The hard part was getting the barrel and bolt I wanted and together so they were head spaced. Now it's picking the parts I want for this monster.

So far, so good! Wish I had an eotech to compare it to. Won't be able to take it to the range until I get a new bolt carrier.
