That's a weird but cool marble green. It grows on ya. Everything else being black accents the green nicely. I'm liking the side charger too but why go all AK on us? lol Why not a left side-charger.

Recently put this 18” upper together and put it on a spare lower I had with a cmc trigger. Got it sighted in, and then proceeded to test out some handloads of some 69gr smk I loaded up. Was VERY impressed, best group with them was .436” @ 100. Hopefully I can get the same results when I duplicate the load. Was disappointed in the black hills 77 grain tipped matchking though. Maybe it was me, but at 100, couldn’t get them to group under an inch. Maybe next time I’ll try the black hills open tip match..

Does anyone know if you can put a full sized taper mount on a griffin optimus? I want to put on on the Grendel and dont know if I want to put a minimalist brake on there.

Yes, I emailed Griffin armament about the mount options before I bought mine.
Any minimalist taper mount can be used in either the mid or long configuration, any full size taper mount can be used with the long configuration.

I haven't shot it yet, actually I haven't even seen it yet, it should be at the dealer by now but I haven't checked, form 4 submitted 7/11(?). I'm hoping the form will be back by December.
