I only use Metalform or PSA (Which is a branded Metalform)..and never had a mag issue. I believe the CMMG mag is also a branded Metalform.
My "mag" issue turned out to be an upper issue. When I first built it...the mag would go too far up in the upper (Vltor) and get pinched and not drop back down to the mag release catch. I did a little filing on the upper..never had an issue since.

    But late to your question...

I have the SDN-6. Would I buy it again? Probably not if buying today. Back when I bought it (6-7 years ago) it was one of the few options and was affordable and good. It still is mind you. But these days there are a lot better designs (IMO) from other companies at cheaper/same price points.. I still use mine (and will continue too) on my AR's though!

The OSS is one of those things that I feel like tons of people find intriguing, but with the way NFA items work it just hasn't gotten popular.

I gotta say, I'm concerned at this point about our future as gun owners right now.

Yeah, I don't wanna bash Trump and I do agree with you. But Trump is not a gun guy. He will turn his back on us to make a deal with the Dems. Like say, getting healthcare overhauled. IDK, I hope I'm wrong. Just really freaked out about this shooting. Really bothering me.

I would too. I love shooting. But, did you see his brother? He was totally speechless. You'd think he would have know this dude was into guns. 40 at his house? It's just weird.

    Here's my $.02....
I'm NOT pro-gun control (clearly, given that I own a few), BUT I really am not a fan of circumventing the full-auto laws by manipulating the butt stock to increase the rate of fire, i.e. Slide Fire.

There is really no benefit to increasing the rate of fire on a semi-automatic weapon other than to burn through ammo. Civilians don't need to provide cover fire for each other while hunting. And if there's an apocalypse you're going to want fewer moving parts on your weapons for more reliability (I really need to get a bolt action .223). I'm just saying that I would not be against regulating the legal sale of devices that increase the mechanical rate of fire on semi-automatic weapons. If you're finger can pull the trigger as fast as your weapon can cycle then good on you, go to town. But if you need to increase the rate of fire by buying something mechanical that attaches to your weapon.... nope.

    Again, just my thoughts.

I've had an SDN-6 for a long time. I'd buy one again. Main selling point for me is Inconnel construction. Bulletproof (npi). There is a reason turbo blades and rocket motors are made of it. I think there are some other newer exotic metal cans out now, stellite, being one. Not a Ti fan for anything that gets hot....

If you pay more than $40 for an Anderson, you paid too much. I've got 3.
