There are no MSRP items at Palmetto arms, like all of the other gun and gun related manufacturers, they have overstocked from the high demand years, and have been selling them off at the minimal profit just to stay ahead. like buying a house now, it has become a buyers market and the same thing is happening in firearms world also.

Good ??? I usually do just a quick clean after a range session then like every 5th time out I'll take the BCG apart and clean everything thoroughly but compared to most I really don't shoot a lot I mean here in the god forsaken state of CT where we can only have 10rd mags

Depends on the gun. I just run a boresnake down the tube on my piston AR's and knock the dirt off the bolt and exterior with an oily rag. DI guns I do a quick tear down of the BCG, scrape the carbon off the bolt and firing pin, clean the chamber and run a boresnake through. I don't get to shoot every day, and when I do get to shoot we burn up a lot of rounds! If I only shot a few mags through I'd probably just put it back in the safe.

Sure there is. Look up Hornady .338 Lapua ammo. Full retail pricing. Same with much of the high end self defense ammo. Either way it's bananas the deals they are having now. This is what it's like to have an FFL at a volume dealer, except everyone gets that pricing!

    Right!!
My national guard buddy hates me because there’s always carbon in my AR’s, it drives him up the wall and he keeps telling me that one day when I need it most it won’t run.

Adventure Outdoors in Smyrna, GA is running a BOGO on AR-15s. Buy a Bushmaster XM-15 QRC and get a second AR free after $150.00 rebate. Other ARs are Armalite, Del-Ton, and American Tactical. I choose an Armalite Eagle-15 with .223 Wylde Match barrel.

I run my AR "wet" with oil it helps with the clean up process in my opinion. Bore snake and then wipe down everything else. I take the BCG apart every other cleaning just to make sure everything is ok. Gas rings and firing pins do break but not that often. Just my .02.

I bought 30 of the D&H @ $9.99/ea awhile back. They use the MAGPUL anti-tilt followers. Good mags IMO, especially at that price.

I break-down the BCG and clean everything every time I shoot.

Coming from the military I was thought to clean them meticulously. When I got my first AR I use to break it down and clean it all the time.
Now I just oil and boresnake them. And not that often, maybe every thousand rounds or so, probably a lot more. I’ll clean the .22s when they start acting up, and they are usually filthy at that point.
I’ve yet to see an AR malfunction due to dirtiness.

I still just use breakfree CLP for cleaning. Although anything works fine.

The point is, like I said, nothing is MSRP at palmetto site because most things aren’t MSRP on anybody’s site o_O

:notsure: I don't use their website because they're local and I don't shop there because their staff are know it all pricks...and they don't usually honor the "online" price in store...probably because the shipping costs cover the difference

I guess it’s kind of like the harbor freight thing then. But everything I’ve ever gotten from there was free shipping, maybe that’s why they charge higher prices in their storefront, that and to pay for the storefront :fistbump:

They have employees to pay to ignore me while I'm standing at the counter trying to look at a gun too
