    Check out my sig...
Should get a socal shoot scheduled.
At Angeles I only collect my 5.56/.223 if I use the fabric thing there to block my ammo from flying all over. Too much of a PIA to collect pistol ammo at the pistol target area or the steel range IMO. OC indoor only has a pusher broom thing and nothing to scoop ammo up with and LA shooting club doesnt allow you to pick any up...

+ 1 on local. JD through Discount guns in San Diego for 1 lower and riflegear branded for my 2nd lower. Both my current uppers were new/low round count from local gunners - riflegear was gonna be my next option but my LT Stealth and Colt M4 popped up and was too good to pass up.

Lowered the twin towers like suggested. Getting a lo pro gas block sometime soon. Odd enough I can see just fine through the scope though

Hopefully this will help with my accuracy

[QUOTE=achirdo;4988502Odd enough I can see just fine through the scope though

The scope is focusing past the FSP. It blocks a little bit of light, but I'd keep the A2 on if it's not bothering you...

My dad came over last night and handed me his debt card and said "order eveything that I need" :D

he has a PSA 16" midlength upper, MOE FDE stock kit, grip, and handguards, and a BCM charging handle on the way.

I had already bought him a lower and the LPK for his birthday.
PSA is out of their BCG's so once those come in I will get one of those on order.

because if it doesn't bother you it is worth keeping the sturdy iron sight and throw a mbus under the scope.

Not worth it...BCGs are non-mil spec and same price as a Spikes

...comparing anything to Spikes, who has been repeatedly shown to use shady business practices...

That G2 light stuck to your rail in the sig pic isn't "milspec" either, but it appears that you seem to use it just fine :)

The reason Sam says those aren't milspec:

"These are "sport" BCGs only because the bolt itself isn't exact Mil-Spec material. It doesn't have the "big mac" steel. It's properly hardened steel that simulates or approximates the properties found in Carpenter 158 (which is the Carpenter brand of steels, a product like big mac or whopper). Functionally, it is no different than Carpenter 158. I am 100% guaranteeing the functionality of these BCGs. I have them in about four of my personal rifles already (same source) and have used them for probably 2-3k out of one rifle and the rest have 300-1,000 on them each. I have no issues with guaranteeing them. Because of this irregularity, though, they're at a reduced price from my regular completely mil-spec Microslick BCGs."

Plus they are coated with Microslick :)

Wasn't trying to be a dick...simply stating that for $150, I'll buy something as important as BCG milspec every time. And comparing a flashlight to a BCG...like comparing pubes to garden gnomes. Carry on...

So Tom got a copy of the TDP at Spikes? I really doubt anything he's selling is "Milspec"

    ...No matter what he says.

Now if you would have said "Wait on a BCM, they are $160 and worth the $30 extra" I would have agreed with you. But I was offering an in-stock option for the fella wanting to get his rifle running from a guy I know would treat him right.

It was just the last place I remember seeing a price - wasn't putting Spikes above Bravo. Simply voicing an opinion. I'm done. This is Kevin's living...frankly neither of us are in any position tell him what's better than another.
