Not sure if AR9 platform will make a difference but I've been running cheap brass I can find in all my 9s for years now.

    Monarch, Magtech, Fiocchi.
All can be found for under $10/box 50, if your patient.
Been seeing Magtech for $220ish/case 1000 lately.

Just so long as Spicy never finds out, although I think I might need to order more than the 1K box of 9mm I put into SGAmmo.

Better to ask what I have not done.
Trade you gun time with the 458 and the 6.5's for ar9 time

    Ok guys, questions.

Looking for a bipod for the 6.5 creedmoor, and have a few ideas, wants, problems. I want this to be a midrange/long range 300-1000yrd gun for playing and coyotes and other animals smaller or deer at closer. I want to be able to have the prone ability and a sitting ability as well sooo i came up with these two options.

    1.

First idea was to just get a harris bipod the 9-13 with the slotted legs

and get a rail adaptor like this one
    https://arisakadefense.com/products/low-profile-bipod-mount

Then i found these guys that really want my money :anonymous:
    https://www.coreshooting.com/collections/all/products/bipod-leg-extenders?variant=5957368067

I would need these adaptors https://www.coreshooting.com/collections/all/products/harris-bipod-adapters

And then i also found these that would make it a quick switch between the two shooting positions while maintaining a quick take down when not needed

    https://www.coreshooting.com/collections/all/products/harris-bipod-clamp-on-adapters

    2.

Buy an atlas and leg extensions to do the same thing as above, :D

Atlas would be a bit more pricey but i gain the ability of the 45 angle front and rear and a cant side to side.

I want a bipod set on the rifle for working on it and to be able to set it down. So please don't suggest shooting sticks and a bag o_O

If money isn’t a concern atlas makes great stuff that can take you loading into it just fine.

I probaly won't buy another wylde barrel, concept is great but the one I got was out of spec and the shop I took it to said they see it all the time. Part of that is probably because the barrel I had was unbranded cheap junk

Would a dedicated 22lr 4" barrel be to short? It's that or 9". Not a lot of barrel options for 22 ARs.

Whatever makes you happy is what I say ;) But I would go with 4'' for suppressor or 9'' without

Yeah, seems 4" would be short as f$%k without some kinda suppressor. I'm going 9 then. 8 would be better though.

Good thing about 4" is that almost all ammo stays subsonic. I made an 8" long dedicated form 1 can for my 4" 22 AR. It's a great combo.

It came w/ a decent rifle but their customer service tried to claim it was normal for 556 to not work in a wylde barrel
