And you can add your mounting points on the m-lok/keymod wherever you need in just the size you need

I generally stick with picatinny just cause I have quite a bit of stuff that is pre-mlok/keymod.

But if I were to change it up id probably go for mlok. I like the looks of it better plus you can buy "QD" mounts for it. Not sure if keymod has that feature as of yet (honestly haven't looked)

From what I have seen, mlok is more popular. But BCM runs more keymod. I think I’m going to go with mlok

Hardly. The US Military has adopted M-Lok as their new method of attachment for their rifles. The M-Lok vs Keymod debate was essentially solved last year when the testing trials between the two was released. M-Lok won out on its attachment retention, among other things. Picatinny is still the king of attachment retention, but it loses out in every other aspect; weight, bulkiness, snag factor, etc.

Most companies in the AR industry are now going to the M-Lok system, very few are hanging on to Keymod as it dies out. Even BCM released an M-Lok version of their rails.

Originally I was a big keymod fan... but my favor has changed to M-Lok for the same reasons everyone else has.
I own 4 Keymod equipped rifles, and 12+ in M-Lok. I would go M-Lok in the future.

    Mlok it is then!

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, rear bumper, and skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
I hope testing by the U.S. Military isn't your sole reason for choosing A over B. And by testing do you mean the same Defense Department testing where SIG SAUR won the contract for the Army's pistol replacement, you know the testing where they determined the Sig was a better combat pistol then the Glock? Do you mean the same Defense Department procurement system that cant even determine an effective camouflage pattern for uniforms, you know the one that gave us the useless ACU pattern? If that is the testing you are referring to than that doesn't mean shit to me.

On four deployments and so forth I never had a problem with any picattiny accessory loosing retention and falling off, not an issue anyways if your doing PCIs and PCCs. Bottom line is I'm sure M-Lok is a great system but I'm not running out to switch all my shit over because its the latest gee whiz thing the military is using.

It was independent testing done by NSWC-Crane, sponsored by US SOCOM. I'd provide a link, but work computers block just about everything firearm related

If you re-read my post you quoted... I stated that picatinny still wins as far as attachment retention goes, but it is the lesser technology in every other aspect. Picatinny was never sought to be replaced because of its lack of retention ability.

The discussion wasn't about switching over all of someone's gear, but about what system to go with going forward on new builds/purchases. The answer remains, M-Lok is the best choice for 99% of the population.

It’s also a lighter wheel and more comfortable to hold wheel.

I think the Picatinny is a more solid mounting system but I also like the keymod for less weight.
