    Check Build thread
They are slightly tighter than a 556 barrel but can shoot 556 perfect and also 223 without sacrificing any accuracy

@Devious6 , since you're getting into building rifles (at least that's what I gathered from your recent activity on this thread) why not consider building the upper from the ground up as well? It'll be a bit more than the complete PSA upper, but you can buy things on sale and pick and choose things one at a time as opposed to just getting something off the shelf.

I've been thinking of that as well. When I picked up the lower from the local FFL I used the guy behind the counter told me he builds about 1 AR a week and that he'd happily give me some suggestions. Still, I don't want to spend a mint on this thing.

It won’t be crazy unless you pick pricey parts (that’s where most people go wrong). But finding things on sale and being patient can most likely get you an upper for a few hundred dollar along with the satisfaction of building it yourself.

I had never notice or understood the value of an enhanced trigger guard until my QC10 Lower came with one. With a sensitive after market trigger, I like pulling the trigger at the very tip, and this gives you the extra room. I have both CMC and POF triggers, and I prefer the POF. (my CMC would not reset when I first got it and they sent me a replacement. But next to each other I prefer the POF.

some and more and more and more and
but if you look, we actually have the same gap from the edge of the trigger to the guard.

16-18" pencil profile barrel underneath any free float handguard. After watching Inrange test pencil profiles I was sold, they shave tons of weight and cost you very little performance for it.

Question for you builders. I've decided to pretty much do a full build (although I think I'll get an assembled upper receiver with the cover and forward assist already installed - not worth buying the parts for those small jobs). I was about to buy an upper and noted it had M4 Feed Ramps. So, I went looking at barrels and can't find any that indicate the have standard or M4 cuts Looking at Gunbroker). Am I overthinking this?

The way I understand it is that if you have a ramped upper, you must have a ramped barrel. Otherwise it's not important.
A ramped upper could cause a round to jam on an unramped barrel.

Thanks - so I've found that same info and pictures...but I'm not finding barrels that specify the cut.

Since you said you were looking on gunbroker, I searched "ar15 barrel" on gunbroker and the very first result specified M4 feed ramps.
If you're not sure, I would ask before buying.

Ok, I found the M4 feed ramp designation on some web sites - but not on the listings on GB. Any recommendations on barrel manufacturers..or any to stay away from?

Weired - I must have looked at 15 and couldn't find any listing the feed ramps. Must be my old eyes.

ARB Bumper, SOS sliders, SOS rear bumper, SOS skid plate. OME Lift. Some other stuff.
Any milspec barrel will have M4 feed ramps.
