If I were to only buy one BCM, maybe even just one rifle period, the RECCE-16 MCMR-LW would be it. If you don't ever plan on shooting suppressed or wanting to change the muzzle device out, I'd look at the 14.5. Really great balance at that length. They are backordered because they simply can't keep up with demand... which is impressive for such a saturated market.

Daniel Defense is another good brand, but I would choose BCM or ADM over DD in a heartbeat at nearly the exact same price point depending on model. DD's quality has been going down in recent years, there's been changes in leadership within the company, they've also lost most if not all of their military contracts. I don't think you would be unhappy with a DD, but I do think there's better options out there without any compromises.
As far as model designations, the letters after the model indicate the "sub-model". SLW stands for Super LightWeight (or Slim LightWeight... not positive), P for Pistol, LW for Lightweight, PRO isn't an acronym but indicates the rifle has features geared towards the competitive shooter. The difference between the V11 and V7 is only the handgaurd, the V7 being M-Lok (keymod is dead, definitely go M-Lok).

FWIW you just need to find a local deal set up with one of the wholesale dealers that will order one

Use the actual model number on this page instead of the RECCE name

    750-790-LW
    https://shop.bravocompanymfg.com/BC...ght-AR15-Carbine-p/bcm-carbine-750-750-lw.htm

    Wholesale and online dealers here
    https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Bravo-Company-Rifle-Carbine-M4-AR15-M16-s/140.htm

They are in stock at some of the wholesalers which means a local dealer should be able to special order one if they use of of the dealers listed in the link above

Col, what LaRue swag did you get with your order? I always get something different every time I order. They always give out the Dillo Dust which is awesome, I prefer the bottle cap tool. No use for the battlefield paint mixer. The literature/stickers are always great.

That's the disappointing point - all I got was two MBT stickers. :(
