Any recommendations on an armorer's wrench and vice block? Hopefully something that won't cost me an arm and a leg.

I'm expecting my new upper tomorrow and a new lower on Tuesday from PSA. It went from a cheap build to already wanting to spend another $600 on upgrades.

It took going cheap, twice, for me before I just sacked up and bought something good. Wasted a lot of money in the process!
I'd highly suggest biting the bullet and buying the ~$75 magpul wrench. The basic Brownells vice block works great, for around $30.

I picked up a cheap Tapco AR wrench and a cheap vice block at Academy sports.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Most any block will work. I have several and like the one from PSA the best. For the wrench Amazon is most likely the best deal you will get. Make sure you get one with the loop and post to tighten the buffer tube nut, the proper orientation for that nut is facing the muzzle thus the reason for the design and higher cost wrench.

Just finished up this .300 Blackout pistol. Just needs an RMR. Built on a PWS/Bootleg receiver set, SOLGW BCG, SLR 5.5" handguard and KAK 6.25" barrel.

Has anybody used a Vortex Huey? I'm looking for a new sight for my 7" pistol and was leaning towards that because I get a good deal on Vortex and I've only had good luck with all my other Vortex products.

Cali Guys, family member of mine behind enemy lines is building an AR, is the "fin" for the pistol grip still a legal way to assist in a featureless build?
Also, this muzzle brake would be a "legal" muzzle brake/ Non-flash hider, correct?

Got my PSA .300 Blackout upper last week, 16" barrel, pistol length gas system, so going to get a 8" barrel for it also.
Wanted something for hog hunting, but adaptable.
Already looking at PSA lowers. Very impressed with them, ordered an upper from another company and told 15 days for delivery, 2 months later still nothing. Canceled that one placed an order at PSA Sunday delivered in 4 days.

I used one. It's not bad at all. Only problem (minor) that you might run into is if you decide to run a magnifier behind it since the buttons are on the back.

    Mounted on a 9.5"

I’m looking at getting a mag lock device to be CA, I’ve seen several out in the market. I know that they all have pros and cons. With that in mind , what would you guys recommend?
P.S, I’m not moving out of CA
