I'm going to add a 4lb Velocity Trigger soon. I have one on my 13.7 5.56 and love it.

Sounds like it’ll be a good shooter! I’ve been a big fan of my Wilson combat 2 stage on my carbine. The pistol has the fostech (Fun, not by any means the pull of a nice drop in though)

Built my pistol today. Runs like a champ. Just need to pick out a optic for it.

I am trying to hold my spending down - have a big vacation coming up and have been bleeding money for gun parts this summer. I will eventually put something else on the AR Pistol I won but wanted something to work with in the meantime. So, I grabbed a cheap $35 Red/Green Dot and slapped it on. I have to say that it is holding its zero at this point.

So I have my first lower built which I got a magpul kit with a SB3 brace from PSA. It’s a Spikes lower. Everything built minus tightening the pistol grip screw. I cannot get that thing more than a couple turns. Any advice? I’ve seen people say crank it but it’s a flathead that I can’t really crank.

Have you tried putting in the screw without the grip just to ensure the threads on it/the lower aren't screwed up? Any signs of cross threading on the screw?

2 years?? About time. Which model is that?

^ That's the first thing I'd do. Check it without the grip. If the threads are damaged, you need a 1/4 -28 tap. If you need/want to change the bolt to a hex head, they're 1" long.

Looking for a muzzle device for my cousins AR-10 in 6.5 CM, currently has a Griffin Minimalist brake and it works freaking amazing but his spotter jumps (and everything on the shooting table moves) when he shoots. Is there a muzzle device with only vertical ports? he would rather have one or two vertical ports over a thread protector, or the blast shield by Griffin.

Well, the wrench is a snap-on, Anderson lower and I can’t tell if it’s a bud light or a Pepsi. Other than that, you need to be more specific in your question. :D

For vertical, I was thinking ported up and down. Now I understand where you’re going with it.

I happened to check ARP's website (considering a 14.5" barrel for my 6.8) and saw that he has his 12.5's back in stock, so $215 later I am getting a barrel to replace the 16" barrel. Now I just need to start the process on getting a stamp for my 2nd lower.
