I just ordered the new Magpul bipod. I'm interested in seeing if it lives up to the hype. I'll report back when it shows up.

marketing gimmick????? I'm guessing you have never shot one then. It completely changes the shooters shooting structure. It lengthens the pull distance and increases the sensitivity on the trigger by pin pointing the energy your introducing to the trigger.

I ordered one from Brownell's yesterday in FDE - they are all waiting for delivery of the FDE. Brownell's was about $6 cheaper than Magpul and they directed FDE sales to their retailers for some reason.

I understand, there not for everybody. That's why we get so many great choice's. But definitely NOT a gimmick!

Agreed - lots of options for lots of tastes. I'm put off by the look of the straight trigger...but probably should try one before I decide if I like it or not since functionality is key.

I think the CMC looks the best for straight blades. I love mine, and my straight Trigger Tech.

AR10 that I built in 6.5 creed moor is punching through the primers, Aero precision receivers and BCG, Ballistic advantage Barrel, Hyperfire 243G (Now called reflex) trigger with the lightest springs installed.
I'm going to try different springs in the trigger, but in theory the lightest springs should result in the lightest primer strike.
The rifle functions perfectly and makes a single hole with a 3 shot group at 50 yards, it's just punching through the primers, the firing pin may also be out of spec.

Yes sir, it only took me about six pulls to make me a lover of them. what a night and day difference of sensitivity. it makes a 3 pound trigger feel like a 1 pound trigger

I would definitely look at the firing pin Length first also, that could be damn dangerous

Most definitely not a marketing gimmick... Straight triggers make a lot of differences to the trigger pull and overall shooting experience.

A little late now... But beware of cheap optics like this. There is most definitely a reason they are less than $200. Not much more than that would have had a you reputable brand (Vortex, Primary Arms) and a decent mount. There's always next time

I have several, they're fantastic for the money. Nothing close to a CMC, Elfmann, etc. But they're also nowhere near the price

Did any of you take advantage of the half price CMC straight triggers that Primary arms had about 2 weeks ago??? (FYI they still have curved triggers for that $99 price)
