I believe RRA has them, I know they used to.

I actually found that Magpul has fixed stocks that fit over carbine tubes as well, so now I'm kinda stuck again on going A1 or fixed carbine.

Does it have to be a A1 or is the A2 too long? I just finished up a build and went back to an A2, and could not be happier with the results. Although the buffer spring really twangs when shooting suppressed, so I just added this stealth buffer spring, but i haven't tried it out yet.

I got my A2 stock here, they have both the UTG and RRA.

A2 is just too long, really. A1 is good and shorter is fine. I'm looking to build a general purpose rifle and part of that is the ability for other shooters to use it. The twang doesn't bother me yet thankfully, lol

Looking for a rail bolt that will bolt on factory handguards. Any recommendations or anyone have one for sale?

You mean adding a picatinny rail to a regular G.I. type hadngaurd? Not sure if there is an option for that? But you can swap out a G.I. type for something like a magpul one.

But i might not be understanding either..it is early and pre coffee fo rme :)

Yes I thought there maybe a rail that I could just bolt on to existing hand guard.

Id pass, those are aimed more at the airsoft crowd. Id go for an entry level vortex, primary arms or bushnell.

Could also look for used and stretch your budget further.

    Both good places to watch.

I put a 1X6 Monstrum on my most recent build - had spent more than originally intended on the build and decided to start with a scope that was a bit lees expensive with the intent to upgrade at some point. I'm actually satisfied with the scope so far - easy to work with, clear glass, construction is good and it holds its zero. Unless it goes south on me, I will probably keep it.
