Let me hold that $650 and I’ll build another AR lol

    Maybe o_O

The only other things I would spend it on is ammo, or another suppressor, or red dots for handguns.
I think I can find someone cheaper than blown deadline customs to do it also.

But what’s the fun in that?

    Nice!

Now why can't you build another blackout? Call me closed minded but why build a short barrel 5.56 when you can have a 300 blackout?

Cost of ammo I guess. :notsure:

    Plus, I don’t have a SB 5.56, just a 13.7” pinned to just over 16” (Noveske Infidel).

The fun is that I’d half two instead of one  interested in seeing how it turnouts though

I’m excited about it, I’ll probably start it this year, not gonna finish it though, my sister needs some parts for her AR pistol so I’m going to buy those for her.

Anyone shot an American defense ambi 556 rifle verses say a bcm? Got to play with (not shoot) an American defense and I was pretty much instantly sold on it with the ambi controls (right handed shooter they just felt comfortable) but trying to decide if it’s worth the extra money. Mainly looking at a pinned 14.5 and it’s main use will be for work.

What's everyone's experience with ATI AR and AR Pistols? They have a love/hate relationship on most platforms I've looked at. Reddit hates them and YouTube loves them it seems.

Aren’t the receivers polymer on those? Personally I’m not gonna trust a polymer rifle

Yeah that seems to be the problem that most people have with them. That's what you get for a budget rifle I suppose. Next tier up is only another couple hundred anyway.

Diamondback rifles run sub $500, Palmetto rifles can be had for $400, deltons for $400

CBC rifles can run sub $500 too

Plenty of options that don’t have questionable polymer receivers

Of all the ones you listed, do you know of any that are in the pistol category? I'm looking for something .556 that has a short barrel. Basically just want something that would be good to keep in the tent with me when I'm camping haha.
