Quickly looking I didnt see anything with less than 3lbs.

 

Guess you missed the part where I said I own nfa firearms.

And quite a few former ffl holders have kept there post dealer samples guns after they gave up the license.

 

Hiperfire has some drop in triggers advertised at 2 and 3 lbs, I put a 243G model (now the reflex) in my cousins AR10 and with the light springs it’s easily at/under 2lbs.

Meanwhile, I lost two trigger groups for my ARs. Who does that shit? Now I gotta buy another trigger group to finish building my spare lower. Just money right guys? Should have just set a $100 dollar bill on fire because I'm sure I threw them away or something.

Shaun and the guys on We Like Shooting we’re talking about this in a recent episode of the podcast, it’s a little convoluted but I believe it’s legal.

 

Hard to believe, there's not much wiggle room in a closed registry... But if it were true I'd be a happy man, I'm about 30 days out from receiving my 07 SOT and plan to convert a handful of my guns to MG's. Just accepted the fact that one day when I no longer had my license that they would be a total loss . But, I'm highly skeptical.

Additionally, by a quirk in the law designed to handle FFL inventory on the closing of a business, the owner of the FFL may take personal possession of the machine gun upon the closing of the business.

Any MG's I will manufacture will have to be destroyed after I decide to no longer carry a license. Pre 86 samples are just as difficult to find and nearly as expensive as a transferrable MG. I've got no desire for that.

 

One has to pay to play.
It's not cheap to be a ffl, sot and to deal with the paperwork just to have the guns you want.
If your willing to do all that then paying for the ffl for years is nothing.

 

Not sure what you can own in MD but I really like my 20 in PSA upper. Eventually ill get around to building my A1 uppers but i have alot of projects and not much money.

 

Upper needs to have a heavy barrel (HBAR). That's the requirement.

 

Isn't this the case with most of us?
