I would like to mount my MK-18 in the back of my Access Cab. Preferably standing up in between the jump seats but i would like to see any ideas you guys have or have done. I did a pistol mount in the center console, but now i would like to find a really nice way to do a rifle.

Are you really thinking about putting an SBR in a visible spot in your truck?

That said, there are several racking options; here's an example of various equipment used to mount rifles and shotgun in police cars. You'll need either a one piece unit or a fixed base and separate locking component; the base cradles the buttstock and prevents it from being pulled forward.

Personally when I carry one of my long guns in the truck it's in a case, under other junk so it can't be seen by Johnny Law or anyone else peeking in the window. I keep a cable lock in the truck that I can secure it with if I stop for food.
