AR15 pistol grip shift knobs,

Damn that's pretty frickin cool! I'm gonna have to think about it for sure!! Just bought $500 worth of shocks, and about $150 of other goodies for the truck, so gonna have to think it out haha

 

I have 2 of these I just found in the box.
1 is a demo and was only spray painted instead of powdercoated. $45.00 shipped black w/ grey grip

My initial thoughts upon relieving the grip was how well made the adapter was and the excellent execution by OP. I couldn't wait to get it in the truck. Once I had it in place I really wasn't crazy about how high it sat compared to the stock shifter. I felt like it was high enough where it would not be comfortable to reach for and felt very like a very unnatural position for your hand to be in. My solution was to cut about an inch out of the center of the internal adapter and reweld the two pieces back together. Once everything was smoothed out and reinstalled, it looks much better and falls in the same position as the stock shifter. I'm not criticizing the product or OP, it's a fantastic product that is really well made, this is just my experience with it. If you compare mine to the previous picture, you can see the difference in height. Thanks again @Dubs Chops for the shifter! The black and grey actually looks really good in the truck. Matches the dash color scheme. I also added shrink tube on the chrome shifter stem per OPs recommendation.
