Thats how they make sure the bead takes a set.

    Air pressure appropriately adjusted.

    Bike washed.

    Chain lubed.

Ready for war on the trails

I understand its how the bead gets set, still wrong if they dont check it.

Got my street tires back on! So much more fun already

The gearing works great on the interstate, no issues running 75 all day long.

That's what I thought too. But after a while, stopping to get gas every 100 miles gets old. On longer rides, this is how I used to roll with the stock tank. Cheap and gets the job done.

I've actually thought about the rack that holds a 1 gallon rotopax tank. For those long days on the trails.

FWIW I had a large plastic tank (clarke) on my S model.

That bike took naps all the time and never had a problem with the tank cracking.

The only drawback I've ever found to plastic tanks is that graphics will bubble and peel as the tank off-gases.

Never cracked because of heat? I've had plastic gas cans crack in the garage because of heat.

Changed the bike to 10w-40 Sythetic Suzuki Racing oil Saturday....with new filter, both Rubber O-rings, and new crush washers.

Picked up some more blue thread sealer.

Picked up a set of Yellow Mechanix Impact gloves in medium  because they're the only thing that'll fit my hands....have not found real motorcycle gloves that suit my needs and fit me properly yet.

I had the bike for ~5 years and my friend had it for a few before me.
    Different kind of plastic maybe?

14tooth sprocket installed. Holy buhjesus wish i had done that sooner. Makes trails so much easier. Makes wheelies in second a little bit easier.

still sings to much at 60 in 5th for my liking but fuck it, it'll be fine.

Bout to order stainless brake lines and brake fluid. Might also grab my jet kit since i'm saving for an exhaust :anonymous:

Exhaust choice to be announced :anonymous:

I actually really like the colors on it. Earthy tones, looks cool.

    I hated it at first.

Its growing on me. Still thinking about ways to add more gold or grey. The white just looks very out of place to me.
