That range of altitudes and temperatures can be tricky on a carb I guess..... the DS is and SM are geared different right? I do 90 on my dizzer with no problems.... and as you always rub it in my face, she's all stock

At least order some jets, a better flowing air filter and do the 3x3 mod. You'll thank me later!

 

My bike was 15/44 stock and is now 15/45

The bike it's not aerodynamically meant to go that fast for too long... I changed my fender for a true mortard fender and it help a bit. (maybe just want mentally justified the "upgrade lol)... but not like the bigger fender ever stopped me from pushing this bike lol

 

I hated the dirt fender on mine. I'm still rocking @Sacrifice's stocker and its one of the best asthetic mods i've done to the bike. People ask me all the time if its a cut down RMZ fender lol

 

After dropping those rally videos in the MD thread, i have to come here and remind you of the RallyMoto stuff. There was a guy at BRS that did a wheelie from the spectator area all the way a mile down stage with his lights illuminating the trees. The services dont overlap so my stage car crew could crew for your bike as well as my car. Its also not a big deal to throw the bike on my trailer with the car and a couple extra fuel jugs if were both going to the same event. Rally west virginia is supposed to start back up this year, and my car should be done either late 2018 or early 2019, but i could always come crew for you sooner if you want to go.

I would absolutely love to do point to points on my bike like that. But the sad part is, she's not a race bike. She's a little curvy and heavy in some areas...needs a little man handling to get by....

 

meh, you should come out anyway. there were a lot of guys that didnt have race bikes, and came out just to hoon the shit out of their bike. as long as your a four stroke, you should go, especially since you probably already have 90% of the required stuff.

Not sure what is required. It appears it just has to be street legal

Just read that link you posted, no doubt my bike would qualify to run.

But i'd get destroyed. Also don't have MX boots or a back/chest protector.

The entry fees are expensive. I don't think i'd want to spend that kind of money to beat this thing that far from home.

and it is a bit expensive, but you get a shit ton of seat time for your money. also, thats why you trailer and dont ride the bike to and from the event lol. unless you have a major crash the bikes never needed service all weekend, just fuel and food for the rider.

 

$350 for a weekend. ouch
