My steering wheel is horrifically shaky now. It's an adventure to drive the thing. I'm parking it until I get the bumper and tires taken care of.

Went from the edge of the flare to the edge of the brace inside the bumper. Didn't re-cap it. Since I took 2" out of fender and flares, stuffs 35s no problem.

I'd use air cut off wheel or angle grinder. I used angle grinder. Went over the cut with flap disc. Used semi gloss spray paint and some tape to touch it up.

I noticed (See image, see the hole in the metal that lines up with the chunks out of the tire? ) that the gauging is also coming from behind the tire, so I have 2 different items eating my rubber. I'm looking for posts from people that have cut or beat this back so I know the best thing to do.

With 34 and 35" tires you need to trim/bend the weld on the rear part of the wheel well, beat it back good with a hammer and cut a lot off the body/cab mount area

Btw - what wheel size and back space are you running? I have 16x8 with 4.5BS

Man I wish I would have cut my bumper the first time this happened! Apparently hit a bump too fast this morning and stuffed the tires into my ARB. It peeled a nice rubber whip and took out my driver side mirror. Luckily I had everything I need to replace the mirror!! Today started as a frustrating commute but I couldn't help but laugh every time I saw the kittens with bowties.

I'll be cutting the bumper soon!
