I can’t get electric unless I swap my axels and everything so that is out of the question....

I know I would take it to a diff shop but I’m just not Shute on what all I need as in parts wise and I know there has been people do it before on a 2013 trd sport

I was looking at an e locker as well but there is pros and cons to both, I might end up with ARB.

    Harrop FTW.

ECGS has ARB and also sells Harrop.

I think in some circumstances it depends on what you intend to do. I don't have any experience with the e-lockers so can't really comment on them. I don't know if they are susceptible to failure due to moisture or not.
The air lockers also have pros and cons to consider. You may get a leaking one but that ca generally be traced and rectified.
Another bonus with the air locker system is that you will then have on board air which depending on your setup, can be used for airing up tires, operating small tools, blow gun nozzles, and such.

Probably Harrop but I’m biased because I installed one on my truck about 2 years ago. I re-used carrier bearings cuz they’re low mileage and just used RTV for a gasket. No problems and plenty of off-roading and towing since. It’s a simpler set up (less parts) than an ARB and somehow I didn’t like the idea of sending pneumatic pressure into my diff... neither did I have a use for that stupid compressor you’d need with an ARB because I have a CO2 tank to fill tires.

OP, ECGS is a dealer for ARB so will likely try to steer you toward that. I went with the Harrop elocker (up front) and am frankly wowed. ECGS will however install the Harrop (they are great guys and do a super job). I ordered mine directly from OZ and at the time the exchange rates were such that it was about the price of the ARB so a super deal. If you keep a watch on the exchange rates you may get lucky, but the exchange rates are a moving target...
