ARB Base Rack for Tacoma Topper (unavailable?)

    Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD
    Just found out from ARBusa that their Base Rack is not available for a topper/shell from a company like Leer, ARE, Snugtop, etc.
    The ARB Base Rack is available for various vehicle roofs but not available for toppers/shells.
    I was told the Base Rack installation hardware isn’t compatible with the mounting rail track system common to USA rack companies (Thule, Yakima, etc.).
    I really like the one piece design, simplicity and mounting accessories for the Base Rack and was disappointed to be told it’s not available to fit a topper.
    Given all of the various sizes of the Base Rack on the ARBusa website, I’d be curious to know if any one in TW has had any success installing a ARB Base Rack on their Tacoma’s topper/shell?
