The stock coils won’t hold the ARB & winch effectively. You’ll have a lot of body roll when turning and nose dive when braking. ARB designed their 886 springs to go with the weight of the bumper. I would highly recommend running a proper suspension setup for that much weight.

You can get these coils and pair them with 5100s. They are a 620 lb coil and will handle the weight of the bumper and winch very well. They'll lift the front end 1.5" with no weight, so with weight you'll pretty much be level. Another alternative is 5100 and OME 883 coils. They are a 590 lb coil, and a little shorter so you'll only be around 1" lift, maybe even a little lower.

Is that 1.5” lift with the bilsteins set to zero? If so would those coils work if I ever wanted to go higher once I do a wheel upgrade?

You can set the shock to the second notch which (I think) is around .85 - but they strongly recommend not going higher than that second notch.

So yes - set at zero is 1.6” set at the second notch would be roughly 2.45”

Is that recommendation based on the coil upgrade? Or is it just a regular bilstein recommendation to not go above the second notch?

So I am still looking around at suspension upgrade options. Added an ARB bumper with full guards, soon will add an 80lb winch. I would like to bring the truck to factory level and then bring the entire thing up by 2" while adding some stability for rough terrain. I am by no means going offroad on a regular basis so I need nothing crazy. This thread has steered me toward the bilstein 5100's with these coils. My question is will this just bring me back to factory? Or will I be able to go higher?

I also spoke to a friend (who generally thinks he knows more than he does) and was pointed toward this kit. Will it do what I want? Thoughts?

Have ARB front bumper, warn zeon winch, and full skids. Currently running Kings extended travel with 700lbs coils. Before I had OME with 886 coils. Kings are much better on and off road. Lift from both was around 2.5inches. Never took exact measurements. Also don't do spacers. If you are on a budget then get OMEs.

Strike two - Spacer lifts are not for trucks that will be off road, even a little. They are fine parked in front of Macy's though.

I figured as much. I know very little about suspension but I have read that about spacers. My buddy does like to do things half assed. Also he drives a Chevy that has been broken down in his driveway for the last three months. (Strike Three and Four)

So back to the original question. Will I be able to get factory level +2" off of the bilstein coil combo I mentioned above? What should I do about the rear?

I would invest in rear shocks and aftermarket leafs like ARB darkar leaf packs.

For 2" without breaking the bank, with that bumper, OMEs with 886s are probably your best bet. If you have more to spend, then King or ADS coilovers. Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road can point you in the right direction.
