OP, did you get the running lights figured out? I just got mine yesterday and didn't understand the intructions on how to match/hook them up.

To anyone else who experienced it. Pls help? I suck at electronics and wiring. I don't understand where the running lights hook up to. :-/

I forgot what color it is but if you have a test light its semi easy to find it, just turn the running ligs on and start checking wires at he front till you find the one that lights up turn off your lighs if the light on the test light goes off you got it!

Then use the clamp things they gave you to tap into it.

I used red t-taps to connect the wires. Google it. As far as which wires to connect to, amber light connect to hot wire of the amber light ( light closest to grill) , clear light connect to hot wire of the corner light ( furthest outside light toward fender). As far as ground wires, I ended up running a new ground for each side instead of tapping into existing ground. Hope this helps.

It helps a lot. Thank you.

I have DTRL. So the amber lights of the bumper will also be on at all times?

Lex, update! Noticed today that after a while my running Lights would click off while the truck was running. This was why I ran new grounds and checked all connections. Today, noticed one side clicked off ( r.l. On truck and bumper) and a minute later, the otherside clicked off. I guess the truck has a thermal protection switch that is shutting them off due to running 4 running lights instead of the two ( two on truck, two on bumper). Disconnected the running lights on bumper and no more cutting off issue. Mine is a 2010 dcab. Not sure how to fix this. My master tech at work is looking into it. Surely someone else has had this issue!?!

Thanks for the heads up. It would have been kinda cool to also have dtrl on the bumper as well. Haha. I'll keep checking back for a fix.

solved. Several folks had same issue. Replace bumper 30watt bulbs with sylvan 12 watt bulbs and it won't overload circuit.

I'm glad I ran my bumper for a few days before I drilled out the holes. When I first mounted it there was too little gap and it would clunk on me.
