But seriously , start out with your suspension .

The OME 886 coils / OME shocks are specifically designed to work with the ARB bumper , get an AAL , or better yet , the OME Dakar leaf pack

You can drive it just as it is till you get more money. You just can't wheel it much. I wouldn't put a wench in there either :D The wench goes in the passenger seat.

just curious, but why wouldn't the OME 885 coils work?

885s are for trucks with stock bumpers, lower spring rate,

886s are stiffer to hold the extra weight of aftermarket bumpers.

If you had an aftermarket bumpers (such as bruteforce or relentless) and a full skid plate setup (such as budbuilt), would the rear dakar leaf pack combined with the 886's work well together? Would the back end sag a bit more than the front?

No, but at full stuff they will slice the lugs very nicely if you're not careful.

The 885's were too high for my truck ... but as ya said, I have the stock bumper.

I ran my billies at "0", and had a TSB full AAL. The truck looked great and handled well, but the misses and I were 'climbing' in and out of the truck. Just wasn't right for us as a daily driver. We're both old and short.:)

We have a Jeep TJ that we abuse on the trails - lifted, caged, locked, w/35s. I spent years (younger) climbing in and out of the Jeep. I also ran OME at one point on the TJ. Great products thru OME! Currently, we have Rubicon Express on her. Nevertheless, these days just above stock is fine for our use of the Tacoma.

Uhhhh I have 885 coils in the front with my ARB bumper and winch. It was recommended by ARB themselves.

Basically it allows you to put aftermarket products on your vehicle without fear of voiding the warranty. The manufactuer has to prove that the installed part caused the issue to deny the warranty claim.

If you were to put an aftermarket suspension on and then 3 months later your CV's go out then Toyota could say the lift caused the CV's to fail because of the increased angle on them from the lift.

No, it was hypothetical. I've been running an OME lift on my 2003 Tacoma for a few years now and no issues with it. Also running an OMe lift on my 2010 4Runner and haven't had one issue.
