I have the ARB twin compressor i am getting ready to mount and I have both the Rago and MORE under hood brackets. The issue I am having with each of the brackets is, the Rago is not compatible with the manual trucks, and the MORE appears it’s going to be too tight with the Injen cold air intake box. I was wondering if anyone has had success moving the brake booster resi (I think that’s what it is) that would seemingly allow me to run the Rago mount. Given the options I have, that seems like the path of least resistance. I was wondered if there is anyone else has any ideas.

    You mean clutch fluid reservoir?

Have you looked at the Slee Offroad mount? Little more streamline than the MORE option, if you want it under hood.

    Always the underseat option!

I’d be finding another solution before trying to relocate clutch or brake master cylinder for a compressor.

Going to be watching this as I also have an MT and been eyeing the ARB for under hood mounting.

I noticed it was dot fluid and assumed it was brake related. I feel like I have seen it listed as both a brake booster and a clutch fluid reservoir. Either way I could move it down and back, I think, shortening the line and opening up the area for the Rago mount.

I had not see the Slee mount, though the situation looks the same as the More mount, behind the intake box, which the Injen I have is larger than stock, further reducing that space.

You're not going to want to hear this but go back to the stock air box and put it there. OR have you room to mount the compressor vertically instead of flat? Make your own bracket. I personally have a battery in that position and cannot measure to see if it would fit vertically. I am currently in the process of putting my compressor in the grill area. I will not put this noisy thing in the cab.

Just run it in a pelican case setup and grab it when you need it? I can't imagine needing a compressor enough times in a week to justify moving major component's out of the way. Not a helpful post I know, but now I'm curious to see.

The pelican case is logical, however it fails to meet the high level nerdery I desire that is the Rago Wifey system…

I thought about the R4T mount, I just don’t want to buy a 3rd mount! For that matter I saw that CBI does a vertical one behind the airbox as well.

I will need to see just how tight the situation is there when I get home from work tomorrow.

    That's the clutch reservoir.

Copy. Is the clutch reservoir able to be moved towards the firewall, simply shortening the hose and moving where the bracket is mounted?

I never have understood the obsession with cramming a stupid expensive compressor in the hot dirty engine bay.

You can move the clutch reservoir as needed. Moving the bracket may entail drilling new holes in the inner fender and putting in rivnuts.

Another option is to revert to the stock airbox and an HPS intake tube. This gives you all the benefits of a CAI (resonator delete for more sound) without a bigger airbox: https://www.stage3motorsports.com/5...ps-reinforced-silicone-intake-hose-black.html It's better to mount the heavy compressor on the passenger side, for weight distribution.

Swap in the TRD box and use your preferred mount.

One of my favorite and most used mods... works a treat. Having used a cheap portable pump, I won't go back.

You could remove the clutch fluid reservoir entirely by going to the combination brake / clutch reservoir found in the Sport. Having a Sport, I did the opposite by installing a separate clutch reservoir.

I'm using the desertdoesit mount and seat jackers. Mounted under the passenger seat. ARB twin stays clean and is easy to access.

SDHQ has a mount for the rear storage cubby behind the passenger seats too.
