Not really. I'm only using it to inflate tires.

Opinions differ, mine is YES it is LOUD. I don’t want it anywhere near me. I have always aired up using the spare as an air tank - does all four tires in my Samurai. Absolute silence - I even park away from those I’m wheeling with.

I would think so, I think its better under the hood personally. I do know some people mount them under the seat though. Personal preference I guess.

It’s gonna work! Got a chance to do a dry fit and it fits in there nice and snug.

Now you just need to make some sort of bracket.
Did you try a vertical fitting?

So the MORE bracket I have will work for the compressor. Now I have to figure out how to mount the wifey manifold.

now, I do have the Rago mount available for anyone who wants it. (New)

It is mounted. Now onward to wiring and plumbing. It got interesting when I sheared the bolt off of the horn that I was trying to flip around. I had to get creative on making that whole again. But hey, the compressor is in!

I noticed your gauge only goes up to 60psi. Don’t know exactly how you plan on using it, but these compressors I believe can approach 150psi. You probably still have the manual, what does it say the pressure sensor is set for?

I did get mine installed. It’s not that loud! It is quieter than the ARB version.

I THINK, the pressure shut off is set at 100 psi. But I don't have my manual anymore to know for sure. But for some reason 100 psi sticks in my head for this.

I was able to grab my ARB from Northridge for 523.60. I figured that wasn’t too bad and just went for it.

    Yes please!
A little late but Slee also makes a mount for up by the radiator washer fluid reservoir. A buddy of mine has the Slee passenger firewall mount with the wifey too and it fit. I don’t have pics but the wifey manifold is to the front.

Eta: sorry, it’s to the center of the vehicle. Found an in progress pic.

I’m going to second that. Pretty sure the tuning side of the house has measured and proven that the stock airbox is not a restriction, so your aftermarket one wasn’t really an improvement.

There was no room to spare with the cold air box in front. I took the wifey block mount, flipped it and drilled some holes and did a little cutting to get it to mount behind it. I’m happy with how it came out. I still need to finish running to air lines and make the wire connections. I need to cut a hole for the switch too.
