not a bad idea once I get it figured out. I’m just trying to find the right fuse to tap into. I’ve gotten it to run for a few seconds off some 12v fuses but idk. I do think taking out the locker wiring would be nice since I’ll never use it

I found somewhere online it should be 15, I tapped a couple different 15s and the switch would light & compressor would run for a few seconds and turn off. One day at a time

It's suppose to turn off once the tank receives enough pressure. The mid size compressor will engage for about 2-3 second only

I've made that mistake before, putting the stock fuse in the wrong spot.

oh really? I figured there’s no way it can be max in only a couple seconds... but I won’t be suprised if I’m wrong

Don't take much if you're not cycling the tank. Try hooking up an air line and and inflating a tire and see if thre compressor will engage again (make sure to turn comp on)

Mine cycle off in about 3 seconds if I don't engage the lockers. Once the locker is activated, the compressor engages for another 2-3 second. Because the air in the manifold got diverted to the line and locker and the compressor must refill the manifold.

The fuse for the original circuit stays the same. The fuse requirements for the new switches can be found right in the installation guide. Page 13.

The compressor runs for only a couple seconds as the manifold it's pressurizing is extremely small. Again, understand what it is that's going on and don't assume things are functioning wrong just because you don't yet understand what proper function is. Do some testing and investigation and reading before assuming.

I installed a cheapo analog pressure gauge in my manifold. No guessing needed.

you were correct thank you. I found a fuse and it runs 12v key turned and 0v off. Works good I just didn’t know why it shut off so quick. Thank you for the help

Welp it was working yesterday just fine. Trimmed the compartment for the switch, replugged and it wouldn't work and a 10amp fuse blew on the add a circuit. Back to retracing. Always something when learning

any update? my 10amp fuse keeps blowing. was working fine for a year with a add-a-fuse hooked up to the ignition spot inside under the drivers side fusebox. ignition fuse is also 10amp
