Hopefully I can get some help on this. I have put the ARB Dual Compressor in the rear Driver's Side Cubby, and it's wired to my 2nd NorthStar Battery in the bed. I only plan on using the one included switch but want to put it in the bed above the Bed Cubby with the Compressor. Question is there are 2 small wires and one states " to ignition " and the other states " to dash illumination " Thoughts on how I should wire those 2 little wires from in the bed, or is there a way to bypass them and still run the Compressor? I don't care if the switch lights up or doesn't light up. Thank you for your time and any help you can offer.

I believe you can bypass the dash illumination but the ignition wire you’d still want to run up front. That avoids the compressor from being turned on when the truck is off which could drain your battery. At that pout you might as well rub the second wire For the switch light since you’re already running one from the bed.
I forget the ARB harness but I do remember there was a wire that seemed unecessary but it completed a secondary circuit and the compressor wouldn’t run without it. I want to say it was the switch illumination wire but I’m not sure at the moment.

You only need to connect 2 pins on your switch to operate the compressor. Red with yellow connects from 12V source (ignition) to pin 2. Pin 3 connects to the red wire which goes into the ARB harness connector to the purple wire.

The grounds and dash illumination at the switch are only to light the switch up.

the "ignition" you could connect to any 12V wire, could be a dedicated feed there it's only to power the relay. Doesn't have to be ignition power, if you power it by a constant 12V you can use the compressor even with the truck off. You could tap into the 7 pin harness battery charging circuit.

So what can I cut off this harness that I don't need? I know I don't need wires for switch 2 or switch 3.
