I hear ya man. One locker is expensive enough, but two..

If worst comes to worst I'm sure you'll get around alright in 2wd with the rear locked. Good luck w/ getting everything squared away.

    Thanks, man.

I did pretty well with my 2WD ranger when it was locked. I'm sure the Tacoma will dominate that.

From East Coast Gear Supply, it runs about $1475 depending on options, that includes a re-gear. I don't know if you can get factory 4.10 gearing from them though. You could probably send in your diff first and they could put those gears in for you. Definitely give them a call they have excellent customer support.

Unless you have larger than stock tires, you won't want to re-gear. Plus if you do re-gear you have to do both differentials.

I'd keep the stock ratio, think its 4.10, cant decipher the code even with the links and threads, only thing on the axle is a color name, think it said pink or something.

OUCH! $1400 , think i'll be the forum mod wimp and get a canopy for now.

You're no wimp, that's a big chunk of change.

    You've definitely got 4.10 gears.

BTW i saw the shots of your ARB control center (3 switches), even the switches look good!
Did the next best thing or maybe better, got me my winter tires early, no risky driving with the stock tires this winter. Stock ones seem good for everything else so i kept em.

    they're not 4.10s anymore. . . . . its higher like 3.90 or 3.73.

not to do the YOUR WRONG thing i would just hate for someone to calculate what they need and be off by that much.

somebody has to know what they are for sure
