Yes, I praised it highly on my 2001 and 2005 Tacomas... but on my 2010, the A-TRAC has double the traction and none of the pitfalls of the factory locker!:cool::amen:

The only known problems that I've ever heard anybody complain about where the hoses rubbing up against something and breaking or some sort of compression fitting for the hoses for the air, failing.

OK, so the newbie DavidK and I (David K) just had a PM exchange. He tried but can't (so far) change his handle so it doesn't look almost exactly like mine. Any moderator or TWer out there help him? Thank you! The TW program probably should not allow two exact names with a space being the only difference.

I don't have a locker but I have read threads regarding issues with seals inside the unit leaking.

Is this a serious question to a 4 year old thread? Yes, of course the A-TRAC works... It comes from Toyota with (as I understand it) assistance from the German engineers at Bosch.

glad you got the name thing figured out. If you loved america you'd factor in Cost of living and inflation and re-answer the OP's question.

    :D

    Cheers David.

I was busting your balls for not answering the 4 year old question about the cost of lockers - and suggesting a REAL American (or whatever) would have answered factoring in cost of living and inflation. :) that's all.

    Cheers RealDavid K

So there is still no response to the OP! I have been looking at the ARB front air locker and got a 2k off the cuff cost from my off road shop but its not a formal quote. Any one had one installed recently? Also is ARB the only option for the replacing the rear LSD diff in Gen 2 tacos? I can't seem to find any other options.
