ARB lockers.. Price for rear lockers and installed

I have front a rear arb lockers. You need to make sure it doesn’t have the black bond seal otherwise it WILL leak. I read TW before install. I advised my mechanic of the seal issue mentioned by TW members. He called ARB. They told him don’t install if you find the black seal inside. he opened and one of them had the bad seal which was part of an old batch that Arb isn’t using anymore.



Have your shop open the lockers and see if the bond seal is black. They should be brown.

Looks like Harrop has very little support in the US. There are only two shops listed in their Dealer list and neither of them even list Harrop as a product line. I will call them tomorrow and see what I find. Did you change out your stock gearing when installing the ARB or stick with factory ratios? I'm curious what affect going to a 5+ ratio has on gas mileage and highway speeds.

 

So the Seals are part of the ARB Air Locker? Im assuming if I were to order a now one now I get a brown one! lol..
