115lbs is too heavy? That's what I weighed my ARB in at. I bet all the plate bumpers on the market are in that range (unless its made out of tin foil or aluminum). I do not know where the heavy myth came from towards ARB...

    I would go ARB

Just a bunch of old crap
    Simple..

ARB for strength if you plan to hit kangaroos, and if you want the large boxy look.

All-Pro if you like more beveled edgier looks and if you want to hit smaller kangaroos.

I chose all-poo because I like the look and didn't want a bumper that was bigger than my truck. I'm happy with the clearance, how it mounts/sits (could use a little more support to the frame for winching purposes) AND with very minimal cost or the use of a friend, you can weld the 3 pieces together and it actually would be structurally stronger than other hollow bumpers. Having the joints welded together where the 3 pieces usually bolt together is like having a gusseted bumper, IMO.

All-Pro looks meaner and edgier, IMO, and gets compliments while still getting me up and over high-clearance approaches and lets me winch out those stuck Raptors.

Also, if I ever hit anything hard enough to break the bolts that hold one of the outer wing sections off my all-pro, I've got bigger worries like probably being thrown through the windshield. Sure, ARB would hold up to an impact probably better than an all-pro. Who wants to test it with me?

I'd take my Apex over your three piece in any stress or impact test.

Demello or all pro (All Pro in my opinion).... ARB looks like it should be on a farm truck out feeding cattle.

Well of course. You missed the whole point of what I was describing. I never said that the All-Pro 3 piece is better in an impact test, but if we both crash into something large at a decent speed then we're both making a very similar insurance claim. Same goes with any of these bumpers folks, they're not indestructable. They all have their strengths and weaknesses, it just depends on what you want it for.

I still love my ARB, and I don't even have any cattle to feed!:p

Though my wife has horses, and she feeds them and drives a Subi Outback Limited with all plastic cladding!:D

ARBs are fantastic. Built to really last. If they were just a tad bit more compact for the Taco, they would be perfect.

Kinda funny you say that! I have a buddy that removed one from an '05 and put it on his '06 Duramax 2500. It actually looks right on it. I will get a pic!

I don't get a lot of the negativity about "mine is better and yours sucks"

They ALL look pretty cool to me!
