I don't have a number for you, but I do know they'll protect from door dings. Even more than steps because they're tucked up higher.

From the bottom of the door, about 3" and eyeballing it from the outermost part of the body about 3/4" so they def will bock a door from hitting them.

    Hey,
I'm in the middle of adding the ARB Recovery Point to my ARB Summit Bull Bar, and there are a few things not addressed in the instructions. I sent these questions to ARB, want to bounce them off of you and see if you can send a few pics of your install.

    1. The instructions list but do not describe the use of 4584363 (WASHER, FLAT, M12 X 26 X 4mm). How is this part used? Is it used parallel to the SHORT SPACER in STEP 9?

    2. The instructions do not address re-attachment of the SUMMIT BULL BAR RIGHT WING PANEL that is remove in in STEP 1. How is the RIGHT WING PANEL re-attached?

    3. The instructions do not address re-attachment of the SUMMIT BULL BAR SUPPORT STRAP that is removed in STEP 3. How is the SUPPORT STRAP re-attached?

    Thanks!!!

    David

ARB makes great products but IMO it looks like you're over building your rig for what you want.

That bumper looks like a deer & mpg killer.
If you're not rock crawling you don't need DOM tubing sliders, and the bolt on ones will weigh even more with all the bracket BS.

You might want to poke around pirate4x for some armor, slider & bumper ideas.
Ground clearance is only achieved by larger tires......and your suspensions ability to articulate.

On safari in South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana, I noticed all the bush trucks and Landrovers are equipped with ARB front bumpers. They drive through and over bushes, small trees, and on my last trip, a feral donkey at high speed. Absolutely no damage to the Hilux we were in. I’ve always been paranoid about hitting a deer with my third gen TRD off-road because of the plastic front end. This last trip convinced me to go with a ARB Summit front bumper. I can attest to their robustness.

Don’t forget to take into account what is available over there.
They make good products but imo the one for the taco looks oversized, like it’s retrofitted from an f150.
