Agreed, I don’t like it loose though, the arb dust cover wraps around the fitting and stays attached.

Doesn't stay attached too well in windy situations. That's why I opted against it.

huh? It’s attached underneath the arb qd mount…under the hood, behind my intake box, on a slee mount. It stays put just fine. Ymmv

It's a "flap" that fits over the fitting. Sure, it won't go flying off but what's the point of using it if the cover doesn't protect the actual internal fitting? That flap did not stay on when driving down the interstate.

Im aware that it’s a flap, I installed it. I guess my point is that we’re both trying to justify me only spending $10 on a rubber cover and you’re trying to justify your $20+ purchase for a product that is trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist IMO.

I have a coupler (not the arb but similar) in the bed and rear bumper:

Bumper (not mine but same place)

my setup in the bed. Also had BY pressure module fed to an air tank that goes to the bumper coupler.

yah came together last minute on a trip. Once I found out the ARB setup did not need the link setup I picked it up. The Air tank and homemade more flate style setup airing up and down is pretty easy and do not need to watch it. Set and forget and focus on other things. It does take a couple minutes longer to air up as the solenoid checks (same if you were doing it manually). I added a couple of extra couplers so if I want to disable the air tank and solenoid I can with a lever.
