Has anyone ordered custom sliders with side rails like ARB’s Summit steps? I love the look, reminiscent of one of the factory options for the Hilux.

Bump. Does anyone have any experience or input they'd like to share? You think it's a good idea, dumb idea, could be made to work, etc...

I’d be interested as well. However I wasn’t really about the ARB sliders so my next move is custom work once I figure out what front bumper will be.

I can see why people don't want to go the custom route. What happens when you whack something hard enough to push your bumper back? If your side rails are connected to both your bumper and your sliders, you'll get way more damage than you would otherwise. I assume ARB has a solution for this issue, but have no idea what it is. Maybe some sort of soft/sacrificial mount?

Good point. ARB usually has all of their stuff sorted out.

I emailed ARB USA requesting detailed pictures of the side rail mounts. Doubt I'll get a response, but it was worth a shot.

ARB hasn't gotten back to me. I'm going to shelve this idea until I find a source for more information.
